Categories
Feed.Us uses categories to define and relate content. Mostly these categories are used to export content to a website.
Example categories? homepage, news, press releases, menu, etc.
Any particular piece of content can belong to more than one category. So an article can belong to the homepage category and to the news category. This is especially helpful for very specific content. Say you're adding a crecipe to a cooking website
Categories can be added "on the fly" and then exported quickly to build new pages or for a different website.
The categories are listed on the "Categories" tab under "Publishing". You can add new categories here as well.
When you add or edit a new article of content, the first field that comes up is the Category field. It's a required field.
Just begin typing - if you type a current category, (say "homepage"), type an H and automatically the homepage category will appear.
To add a new category - just type it into the field. If it does not exist, a new one will be created on the fly.
