Settings overview
The "Settings" area of Feed.Us is a managerie of options. If it doesn't involve adding content to your site, import or exporting content into/out of feed.us... then it's in the "Settings" area.
Here are the options available:
1. Sections: You can change what kind of content gets stored in Feed.Us using the "Sections". Every site comes with a default section with set fields for typical website content.
But if you'd like to setup Feed.us to store other types of content for your website then you can add new "sections" here.
2. Views: "Views" in Feed.Us refer to what fields are available to store your content in a specific section. Here are a couple scenarios:
> Calendar information has fields that are different than "news" type content, like dates and times, etc. You can add different types of content fields using the views.
> Multiple users: If you have several users using Feed.Us with different responsibilities, you can change their "view" of the content. Like hide the "summary" field from a writer and let the editor adjust this after an article has been submitted.
3. Email: change your email address that is set with Feed.Us.
4. Password: Change your password. You can change your password via this page within "Settings".
